Two people sharing a common journey into a foreign land. This series is carried aloft by Madeleine and Réginald’s own take on things as seen through the eyes of their respective generations and points of view. What we could call a "docusoap-adventure" unfolds against the backdrop of the Americas. The breathtaking setting of a unique and rarely explored nature underlines Madeleine and Réginald’s spontaneous or engaged actions and comments. We are thus welcomed to their thoughts and emotions.

We accompany them all along an itinerary where each country has its own face. Every episode includes personal reflections, encounters - artistic, political, geographic, historic – set to local sounds and typical cuisine around which everyone gathers and instantly feels at one with the surroundings. A documentary landscape, this eventful journey sways with each passing mile leading us to the ends of the two Americas. Every step of the way, maps of geographical sites help the viewing audience locate the crew. One wonders what swapping stories around a campfire could reveal…

Pierre is one of the founders of TRINÔME, a production company that is in its fifteenth year in television and audio production: initially, this comprised of children’s television series, the first "docusoap" in Quebec, PIGNON SUR RUE. It was soon followed by MÉTIER POLICIER, QUELQUES SECONDES POUR LA VIE, UNE FAMILLE COMME LES AUTRES, etc. Trinôme has a unique signature in Canadian television. Abroad, numerous awards were bestowed upon the company, as well as 3 Gémeaux, two of which for CIEL! MON PINARD, a show created and directed by Pierre Blais.
